Dancing Bees
This week the Mawhero reading group decided to make a video to demonstrate what they have learnt about Bees and how they communicate with other Bees. They have done such an awesome job, well done Mawhero. We hope you enjoy the video as much as Mawhero enjoyed making it.
Hey Mawhero reading group it's Mrs Hefferman here - I didn't realise that bees were so clever! I love how you presented your learning. I'll look out for the bees in my garden more carefully now! I wonder what bees do in winter? Do you know?

Hi Mrs Hefferman, we are glad you enjoyed watching our video. We would love to know if you see any dancing Bees in your garden. Today we found out that Bees stay in their hives during winter to keep their bodies warm. While they are in their hives they eat the honey they made during summer to get more energy. But on warm days they go outside to go to the toilet.
